Freeman Asian Scholarship Finalist = Acceptance guaranteed?

Hello all, I've just been notified that I was selected as a finalist for the Freeman Asian Scholarship in South Korea, which I'm assuming is one of the more cutthroat countries. I know that the scholarship is extremely competitive, and thus I'm not getting my hopes too high. What I do want to, though, is whether how likely it is that I'll be accepted regularly to the university (no financial aid, full pay) if I don't make the cut for the scholarship. My Freeman Addendum essay, which I'm guessing was a big boost for me, was one of the best supplements I've written - will that not be considered anymore in the regular international pool? Does anyone know if my application will get handed to a completely different group of admissions officers? If they are seriously considering to let me attend Wes with a full tuition scholarship, is it pretty much a given that they will let me attend for 66k/year? Has there been any precedent of people being selected as a Freeman finalist without getting into the school itself..? Sorry - I'm a bit jumpy/anxious after getting the notification out of the blue. If anyone could help me out, that would be very much appreciated. :)
